Introductions:
Physician Health Network (PHN) was established in 1992 by physicians of primary care and specialists.
PHN through the existence of 30 years provided quality care to patient and remained economically viable. PHN profits (if any) were rewarded back to providers and to the physicians shareholders.
PHN is a California Professional Medical Corporation. There are 33 licenced physicians shareholders of this corporation.
PHN is governed by the nine Board members which are elected for 3 years by the Shareholders. The Board elect the President and the Officers.
Management:
PHN is managed by an independent managing companies currently MHM that include but not limited to accounting, billing, quality assurance, credentialing and contracts.
PHN currently providing health care to about 54,000 HMO lives in Inland Empire.
PHN has contract with 12 pediatricians, 6 primary care physicians including Internal Medicine, 100 specialists and other speciality services including hospitals.
The PHN current coverage includes, San Bernardino, Colton, Rialto, Fontana, Lima Linda, Redlands and Yucaipa.
New contracts has been signed with anticipated 10 percent increase in enrollment and the coverage area will extend to Riverside and Temicula.
